Spam Hits S&T Email

A Spam email was circulated on the Missouri S&T Campus on Tuesday, April 4, 2017.  The email subject line contained “WORK AT MECOM GROUP PLC” and it contained and attachment. Do not respond.  Please delete the email as this spam attempt has been report to IT Security.

All students, faculty, and staff are reminded to exercise a healthy skepticism when receiving suspicious emails and follow the proper process to report spam and phishing attempts:

IT thanks the many S&T students, faculty, and staff who properly reported the phishing attack and did not click the link or enter their information.
