Microsoft Authentication Reset Needed (updated @ 4:30pm)

Following abrupt security concerns from earlier today, you may have to reset your campus password and reset your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) settings.

You can also reference the UM System’s “Password” web page and click on the “Forgot Password Tool” link for more information.

After waiting approximately 10 minutes, please go to, login with <username> and ensure you have fully registered for multifactor authentication (MFA).

If you are still unable to login, please contact the helpdesk via Chat during work hours and after hours, send an email from an alternate email address to Please include your username and we’ll get it reset as quickly as possible and send additional instructions.
