All Systems Restored

Columbia has issued the “all clear” regarding networking issues that impacted email and several systems earlier this morning. Email delivery was delayed for some messages that were sent\received between 6 AM – 10 AM this morning. You may continue to receive some emails queued during that time over the next couple of hours.

Greek Housing Network Issues Resolved

The S&T IT department was made aware of networking issues in the Greek houses this evening where students were receiving the following error – “Ethernet cannot find valid IP configuration” Networking engineers have resolved the problem. Thank you to those who submitted tickets to report the matter so we could quickly address the concern.

Network Issues at ResHalls and Greek Housing Resolved

The S&T IT department was able to resolve network issues that started around 8:30pm in residential halls and Greek housing. The cause was related to recent configuration changes that were suggested from a vendor, and is not related to the earlier network outage on campus.
