Exchange Upgraded to CU4 – ActiveSync Clients May Need to Be Restarted

Status: Active

Sun 252017 8:19 PM: The Exchange Messaging team upgraded the Exchange 2016 servers to the latest Microsoft Exchange Cumulative Update 4 (CU) today to address several bug fixes as well as apply several new feature enhancements, including Group DL membership management within OWA.  The team also decommissioned the legacy Exchange 2010 servers as one of last steps of the Exchange migration project.   By upgrading Exchange to the last CU some mobile devices may temporarily get an Active Sync Device policy assigned.  This is a known issue and can be addressed by restarting the mobile device or by rebuilding the mobile client email profile.   If you continue to see issues or have any questions, please contact Tech Support at 882-5000.
