Greek Housing Network Issues Resolved

The S&T IT department was made aware of networking issues in the Greek houses this evening where students were receiving the following error – “Ethernet cannot find valid IP configuration” Networking engineers have resolved the problem. Thank you to those who submitted tickets to report the matter so we could quickly address the concern.

Residential Commons 1 & 2 Scheduled Network Outage at 9pm

S&T IT has decided to reset all the routers in Residential Commons 1 & 2 as we are continuing to see sporadic student room outages. Network Issues at ResHalls and Greek Housing Resolved

The S&T IT department was able to resolve network issues that started around 8:30pm in residential halls and Greek housing. The cause was related to recent configuration changes that were suggested from a vendor, and is not related to the earlier network outage on campus.

Campus network services restored

The S&T IT load balancer appliances encountered issues this afternoon, which in turn caused most campus network services to be unavailable. All services have been fully restored and are now stable.

There will be an outage of all Foundry and Forge computer resources from Monday, July 27, to Wednesday, July 29. Critical systems are planned to remain operational during this time. However, all Foundry user jobs will be affected by this outage.
