Due to security concerns that have arisen with Zotero, Missouri S&T IT has been instructed to retire the use of Zotero on University computer systems. To allow individuals who use Zotero time to transition, the software will remain available until August 2, 2024.
On August 2, 2024, Zotero will be removed from AppsAnywhere and blocked on all University managed computer systems.
Alternatives to Zotero are available. S&T IT recommends Mendeley or EndNote. Mendeley is available in AppsAnywhere for Windows and installation can be requested for macOS and Linux. EndNote can be purchased and installed for Windows and macOS. To purchase EndNote or request installation of Mendeley on macOS or Linux, submit a ticket at help.mst.edu.
