Spam Hits S&T Email
A Spam email attempt has been circulated on the Missouri S&T and other UM Campus’s on Tuesday, April 26, 2016. The Spam email is pretending to come from high profile email accounts. The email subject line contains “PMT”. The IT Security team has put a rule in place to deal with the attempt. Please delete the email if you receive it.
All students, faculty, and staff are reminded to exercise a healthy skepticism when receiving suspicious emails and follow the proper process to report spam and phishing attempts:
