A Phishing email was circulated on the Missouri S&T Campus on Wednesday December 7, 2016.  The email subject line contained “: MISSOURI S&T DOCUMENT [URGENT] : 2016 – 2017 Invitation to view BB11_012HD_ILII.pdf” and the body of the email contained “Good Morning, This attachment contains an important document i sent to you, kindly view document”.  Do not respond or open the document.  Please delete the email as this phishing attempt has been report to IT Security.

All students, faculty, and staff are reminded to exercise a healthy skepticism when receiving suspicious emails and follow the proper process to report spam and phishing attempts:
