A phishing email using impersonation was circulated to Missouri S&T email addresses today (Wednesday, November 18). The subject line reads “#Cellphone number” and the email appears to be from gmail.com using various usernames.

Do not respond or click the link within. Please delete the email as this phishing attempt has been reported to IT Security.

All students, faculty and staff are reminded to exercise a healthy skepticism when receiving suspicious emails and follow the proper process to report spam and phishing attempts.
