S&T along with other UM campuses, will be implementing new security tools to improve password security.  These new tools will reduce the risk of data becoming compromised should someone learn your university password.

The first step in this process was to “register” or add information into the new Secure Authentication toolkit.  Having current identity information in place is a pre-requisite to enabling multi-factor authentication.

The next step in this process is to reset your password using the multi-factor authentication.  Both account registration and password reset must be completed by December 31, 2016  to gain access to key University systems such as MyHR.
