One Canvas is live and ready for the Fall 2021 semester. Instructor and student access to the previous, S&T-specific instance of Canvas will end Tuesday, August 10. S&T’s instance will forward to One Canvas before business hours on Tuesday, Aug. 11. If you experience issues logging in that morning, please try again later in the day.

To prepare for this update, read about getting started then take the following steps:

1. Login now.

If you haven’t already, login to One Canvas now. Instructors, teaching assistants and enrolled students are automatically enrolled in One Canvas with the appropriate role.

2. Save the content you need.

Course materials from 2020 and more recent courses have been moved to One Canvas, but student data and coursework cannot be migrated. If you need to save content from courses taught before 2020, you can export it from the previous Canvas instance before access ends on Aug. 10.

As a reminder, Summer 2021 courses will be completed in the existing S&T instance of Canvas. Content from those courses will be copied to the One Canvas instance.
